Is InsiteChat compliant with the DPDP Act 2023?
We design our product around the DPDP Act's core principles — purpose limitation, consent-based lead capture, data minimisation, and right to erasure. Compliance is a shared responsibility: you control what content you train on and what data you collect via lead forms. We give you the controls, deletion APIs, and documentation your DPO needs to complete a DPIA. We are not a law firm — for binding compliance advice, consult counsel.
Where is my data processed?
Customer conversations are processed by the LLM you choose (Gemini by default; ChatGPT or self-hosted Ollama optional). Lead capture data and chatbot training content are stored in our application database. We document every processor on request so you can map the data flow for your DPIA.
Do you train shared models on my data?
No. Your training content and conversation logs are not used to train shared LLMs or improve other customers' chatbots. Your knowledge base is your knowledge base.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes. Every paid invoice carries our GSTIN, the HSN/SAC code for SaaS services, and the GST split as required for input tax credit claims. If you need the invoice addressed to a specific GSTIN or PO number, update billing details in your dashboard or contact support.
Why not just use SiteGPT or Chatbase?

How do I delete data when a customer requests it?
From the dashboard you can delete: a single conversation, all conversations for a chatbot, a captured lead, or an entire chatbot and its training sources. Deletion is purged from active systems immediately. API endpoints are available on the Growth plan and above for automating bulk deletions.
