When does the lead form appear during a chat?

You choose. InsiteChat supports 5 timing modes: at the start of the chat, after a configurable number of messages (default 3), when the visitor asks to speak with a human, when the AI cannot answer the question, or when the visitor signals buying intent (matched against up to 30 keywords you define).
What lead form fields can I collect?

Three built-in fields (name, email, phone) plus unlimited custom fields. Six field types are supported: text, textarea, email (with format validation), phone (with country-code auto-detection), number, and select dropdowns with custom options. Each field can be marked required or optional and reordered with drag-and-drop.
Can I export leads to CSV?

Yes. Export up to 10,000 leads at a time as CSV, including every custom field column, the lead status, tags, captured timestamp, and conversation context. Exports respect your current dashboard filters so you can download just the segment you need.
Does it integrate with my CRM?

HubSpot is supported as a direct integration — new leads create a HubSpot contact automatically with first name, last name, email, and phone. For everything else (Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Airtable, Google Sheets, etc.) use the signed webhooks (HMAC-SHA256) with Zapier or Make. The lead.captured event ships with the full lead payload, including custom fields and conversation transcript.
Will the chatbot AI score or qualify leads automatically?

Not today. Lead status (New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, Archived) is set manually by you or by an automation rule in your CRM. The chatbot does keyword-based intent detection to decide *when* to show the lead form, but it does not assign quality scores. AI scoring is on the public roadmap.
How do I get notified when a new lead arrives?

Three ways at the same time: an email to your account (with up to 10 additional addresses, each verified), a formatted Slack notification to your connected workspace, and a signed HTTPS webhook for Zapier or your own systems. All three fire on the same lead.captured event.
Is the lead form available in languages other than English?

The widget ships with full translations in English, Hindi (Devanagari), and Hinglish, plus right-to-left layout support. Every label on the lead form — including the field placeholders, submit button, and success message — can be overridden in your branding settings for any language you serve.
How do you prevent spam submissions?

Two safeguards run on every lead submission. Rate limiting caps each visitor IP at 5 lead submissions per chatbot per minute (returns HTTP 429 above that). Duplicate detection means the same email submitted within a 5-minute window for the same chatbot returns the existing lead instead of creating a duplicate row.
