.doc vs .docx — which do I get?

This tool produces a .doc file (Word 2003+ format wrapped around HTML). Every major word processor opens it correctly — Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice, Apple Pages. If you specifically need .docx, open the downloaded .doc in Word and use File → Save As → .docx. (Native .docx generation requires server-side processing; we keep this tool 100% client-side for privacy and speed.)
